When asked what has he learnt about himself after he pursued acting and became a celebrity, Abhishek told the portal that he has developed a thick skin. He replied, "It's equally important to have a thick skin and know how to deal with negativity, but also you have to be sensitive enough to understand where it's coming from, why it's coming and try to rectify it."
To how he has learnt to reply t trolls in a civil, fun and witty manner and not use any expletives which otherwise is a commonplace occurrence on social media, Abhishek while saying that "My thing is that it is fair game. If you're going to take potshots at me I have every right to take a potshot back at you. I don't think of it too seriously," also added, "that's just my way language. I also believe the minute you start hurling expletives at somebody in criticism, you've already lost the argument right there and then."
Recently, Abhishek Bachchan gave a savage reply to a Twitter troll. Keeping it classy, Abhishek responded to the detractor in his trademark fashion when the troll called him 'good for nothing'. The user also wrote that the 'only reason' the user were jealous of him is because he has a 'beautiful wife'.
The tweet read, "You are good for nothing buddy.....the only thing which i am jealous of you is that u've got a very beautiful wife....and from that too that you don't even deserve her."
In response, Abhishek, in his classy demeanour wrote back a witty reply saying, "Ok. Thank you for your opinion. Just curious.. who are you referring to because you've tagged a whole load of people? I know Ileana & Niki aren't married that leaves the rest of us (Ajay, Kookie, Sohum) soooo...P.S- will get back to you about @DisneyplusHSVIP's marital status."
Last year, Abhishek responded similarly to a troll who suggested that he gets work only because of his lineage. "Aapko nahi lagta ke aapko filmon mein kaam sirf Amitabh Bachchan ke bete hone ki vajah se milta hai (Don’t you think you get work only because you’re Amitabh Bachchan’s son)?"
To this Abhishek had said, "Kaash jo aap keh rahe hote sach hota. Sochiye, kitna kaam milta mujhe. (I wish what you’re saying was true. Imagine how much work I’d get)."
As for 'The Big Bull', the film is based on the life of stockbroker Harshad Mehta, who was indicted for financial crimes in the 90s. Harshad was the subject of the universally acclaimed streaming series 'Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story'. Pratik Gandhi played him on the show, interestingly, Abhishek's character in 'The Big Bull' is named Hemant Shah.
