Bipasha Basu's husband Karan Singh Grover previously played the character of Mr Rishabh Bajaj in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2.

As the unlock phase began, many TV shows and many films began shooting with all safety measures in place. However, actor Bipasha Basu has said that all TV and film shoots should be stalled as actors are at great risk. Bipasha wrote, "All shoots should stop till the situation is little better. Actors are the most vulnerable.. most of the unit is protected with all ppe, gloves, masks, shields. But actors have to shoot without any protection. It’s just plain risky."

A few days back, Ekta Kapoor's Kasautii Zindagii Kay's lead star Parth Samthaan had tested positive for coronavirus in which Bipasha's husband Karan Singh Grover played the role of Mr Bajaj.

I would urge and request everyone whose been with me in close proximity over the last few days please go and get yourself tested . The Bmc has regularly been in touch and with the doctors guidance I am in self quarantine and I am grateful to them for all their support . Please be safe and take care."

Ekta had also released an official statement after Parth's case that read, "We would like to inform various stakeholders that one of our talent from the show Kasautii Zindagii Kay has tested positive for Covid-19 and is now receiving medical attention. Our first priority is to help protect out talent, production crew and employees. We are taking all the precautions detailed in the guidelines.
