Denying reports of her impending marriage with actor-beau Pulkit Samrat, actress Kriti Kharbanda has set the record straight that stated that the wedding is 'a distant dream' for the two of them for now.

The couple had made their relationship official in November 2019 and have been together for over a year and a half.

Describing her beau as 'a very real person' in her interview with Bangalore Mirror, when asked about tying the knot, Kriti said, "We've just been dating for a year and a half now and haven't discussed marriage nor do we plan to do it anytime soon. We're focussing on our respective careers right now. Marriage is a distant dream."

Earlier, Kriti and Pulkit had taken a road during the coronavirus pandemic. The two had shared pictures of the same on their respective social media handle.

Talking about the same in her interview, Kriti told the publication, "The trip gave us time to know each other better. I feel special to have someone like Pulkit who makes sure I always have a smile on my face. I try my best to do the same for him."

Kriti also revealed that since Pulkit made her 30th birthday celebrations extremely special, she'll try to match up to it. Pulkit turns 37 on December 29.

For the unversed, Kriti had been diagnosed with malaria earlier this year.

The actress was scheduled to start shooting for her next project, "14 Phere" opposite Vikrant Massey, but due to her ill health, it was put on hold.

However, now that she has recovered from the illness, she will start shooting for the flick this week onwards.

Kriti's latest release is "Taish", co-starring rumoured boyfriend Pulkit Samrat, Harshvardhan Rane, Jim Sarbh, Sanjeeda Sheikh and Zoa Morani. The Bejoy Nambiar directorial is streaming in the film as well as web series formats.
