Salman was supposed to play a father to a nine-year-old girl in it. The movie was touted to go on floors last year, but the superstar had hurt himself while training in various dance forms. Instead, he decided to go ahead with Race 3 and got Remo on board to helm it.

Though Race 3 stands at a total of Rs 163.05 Cr (till Wed, June 27), it’s a byproduct of Salman’s superstardom and not because of any contribution by Remo. Seeing the reactions, the actor-producer decided to put the choreographer-turned-director’s dance flick on the back-burner.

Says a source, “Salman’s well-wishers have advised him against this project. It was affecting his health and after Race 3, they aren’t sure if Remo will be able to pull it off. So, Dancing Dad is definitely not on the actor’s list of films right now.” However, our source adds, “Knowing Salman’s nature, he might give Remo another chance because they got along well during the making of Race 3.” After Hrs contacted Remo, but he was unavailable for comment.
