On Sunday, best shuttler PV Sindhu made the nation proud by winning the BWF World Championships title by defeating Japan's Nozomi Okuhara in straight games by 21-7, 21-7. She became the first Indian to clinch a gold medal at the World Championships. Since then, congratulatory messages have been pouring in for the 24-year-old badminton player and people can't be more proud of her. Several Bollywood celebrities also congratulated Sindhu through their social media pages.
A while back, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan took to her Instagram page and congratulated Sindhu. The former beauty queen posted a photo with Sindhu and Aaradhya Bachchan clicked at a wedding. Aishwarya captioned the post stating, "CONGRATULATIONS dearest P V Sindhu our World Champion So SO PROUD of YOU GOD BLESS Always JAI HIND"

Sindhu had entered in the final of the competition by defeating China's Chen Yu Fei 21-7, 21-14 on Saturday.
Meanwhile, talking about Aishwarya, she is likely to be seen in a Mani Ratnam film and she had opened up about it a few months ago during the 2019 Cannes Film Festival.
