We are talking about the film 'Himmatwala' starring Ajay Devgn and Tamannaah Bhatia. This film, released in 2013, was rejected by the audiences and the makers had to suffer huge losses after it was released. Ajay Devgn, one of India's highest-paid actors, failed badly at the box office with 'Himmatwala'.

'Himmatwala' released in 2013 also starred Tamannaah Bhatia, Paresh Rawal, and Mahesh Manjrekar in pivotal roles, however, despite such star power, the film proved to be a super flop at the box office.

Let us tell you that Ajay Devgn's 'Himmatwala' was a remake of the 1983 film of the same name starring Jeetendra and Sridevi. The film was a super hit and is still considered a cult classic. This is one of the reasons why it was shocking that Ajay Devgn's film failed at the box office.

The film got only a 1.7 rating out of 10 on IMDb. 'Himmatwala' was made for Rs 68 crore. However, the Ajay Devgn and Tamannaah Bhatia film had a gross collection of only Rs 58.34 crore in India. The total earnings of the film worldwide was only Rs 65.7 crore.

'Himmatwala' was directed by Sajid Khan with Ronnie Screwvala and Sajid Nadiadwala coming on board as producers, however, all the hard work was ruined in one swoop when the film even failed to recover its cost.
