In his career span of almost two decades, Abhishek Bachchan has been a part of several multistarrer films and has shared screen space with leading superstars and fellow contemporaries as well. Amongst them, he has worked with Ajay Devgn in about four films namely Zameen, LOC Kargil, Yuva and Bol Bachchan. Now, after seven years, the duo is all set to work together once again in a film of drama genre.
As per reports in Mumbai Mirror, Abhishek will be starring in a film produced by Ajay and helmed by Kookie Gulati. The film will be starring Ileana D'Cruz as the female lead although, she is not paired opposite AB. Talking about the same, a source stated to the tabloid, "It is based on real events that took place between 1990 and 2000 and changed India’s financial fabric. Ajay loved the subject and immediately agreed to back it. Ileana has a very strong role in the film but isn’t paired opposite Abhishek. The team is on the lookout for an actress to be paired with him. The film will go on the floors by the year-end."
Meanwhile, Ajay has several films in his kitty. He will next be seen in Tanhaji - The Unsung Warrior in which he plays the titular role. The film also stars Saif Ali Khan and Kajol as the leads and is slated to release on February 10, 2020.
On the other hand, Abhishek's next film is an Anurag Basu directorial which is also an anthology starring several Bollywood actors.
