However, those hoping to hear her talk Tamil in Vivegam are in for a disappointment

Kamal Haasan’s younger daughter Akshara, who made her debut in Hindi with R Balki’s Shamitabh, is all set to finally make her Tamil debut this week in superstar Ajith’s Vivegam.

However, those hoping to hear her talk Tamil in Vivegam are in for a disappointment.

Akshara plays an NRI. Apparently, all her dialogues are in English. When asked   about her role in  this Ajith-starrer, Akshara says, “I play a pivotal role in Vivegam. I play a girl, who is born and  brought up abroad. My character’s plot runs parallel to Ajith Sir’s character. I’d say my character helps move the film forward.”

It would seem Akshara is now following in her elder sister Shruti’s footsteps. Shruti began her career in Hindi films and then gravitated towards South Indian films. Also, both the sisters refused to be launched by their illustrious father.

“They are self-made young ladies and I am very proud of them. I haven’t seen Akshara in the film as yet. But whatever she has done, I am looking forward to enjoying,” says Kamal Haasan.
