Prabhas as an actor has become synonymous with his larger-than-life character Baahubali, from the movie by the same name. Directed by SS Rajamouli, Baahubali became a phenomena when it released back in 2015 and then in 2017.
Prabhas' efforts behind the movie did not go unnoticed, but the actor now feels he dedicated too much time behind the epic drama. Thus, at the recently held launch of 'Saaho' trailer at an event in Mumbai, Prabhas went on to once again clear that he is not ready to dedicate as much time to any other film as he did with Baahubali. "Actually, I did not want to give two years for this film because I already gave four years for Baahubali," he said.
Prabhas however also added that the action sequences, especially the ones shot in Abu Dhabi, did take up a lot of time (1 year) of him. "But for the action sequences, we need a lot of preparation. For some action scenes, like the Abu Dhabi chase, we were working for almost a year. A lot of preparation and rehearsals are required. I need to support the director and the producers who spent too much," he added.
When asked if he was injured while perfroming the stunts, the star mentioned, "I don't think so. Actually the producers are also my friends so they were extra careful. Whenever they saw danger they refused me to do any such stunt." Talking about his future project, Prabhas shared, "I started another film, for which we shot 20 days. I hope that after this, I do two films a year."
