After announcing the title of his upcoming film, Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana took to twitter on June 20 to share the first poster of 'AndhaDhun'. While most Bollywood posters proudly feature the faces of the lead cast, the makers of 'AndhaDhun' chose to go a little off-track this time. The poster of Sriram Raghavan's directorial sees a pair of black goggles (symbolic of blind man) that are broken mercilessly but instead of the pieces of plastic or glass falling down from it we see elements like piano, musical notes, cat, revolver, a cup of tea, knife, and suitcase. This has definitely piqued our interest.
The poster of the film reminded us of Akshay Kumar's film Crack's first poster. It featured a broken glass frame, too. However, the Neeraj Pandey film currently stands shelved.
While sharing the poster, the 'Vicky Donor' actor wrote, "Viacom18 Motion Pictures presents the first look of #AndhaDhun. Produced by @Viacom18Movies & @MatchboxPix. In cinemas on 31st August 2018. #Tabu @radhika_apte #SriramRaghavan @zeemusiccompany @AndhadhunFilm."
On Tuesday, Ayushmann had taken to Twitter to not just announce the title of the film but also reveal the star cast of the film which includes Tabu and Radhika Apte. Prior to that, the star had teased the audience with a pair of emojis and asked his fans to guess the name of his film.
Ayushmann will be seen essaying the role of a blind pianist in the flick. The film will reportedly be called 'Shoot The Piano Player' in English.
It's helmed by Sriram Raghavan, who has delivered flicks like 'Badlapur', 'Johnny Gaddaar', and 'Agent Vinod'. Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Matchbox Pictures will produce the flick, which is slated to hit the theaters on August 31.
