Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna have joined hands for the very first time for the movie Animal. After releasing the first looks of Ranbir Kapoor and Anil Kapoor from the much-anticipated movie, now, the first look of Rashmika is out and has taken the internet by storm.
On Saturday, Rashmika Mandanna took to her Instagram and shared the first-look poster of her character Geetanjali from Animal with her fans. In the new poster, Rashmika can be seen wearing a red and white checkered saree with minimal makeup and messy hair. The actress further captioned her post, “Your Geetanjali.”
Rashmika Mandanna and Ranbir Kapoor will reportedly be playing lovers in the movie Animal. Both Rashmika and Ranbir had taken off to Manali last year to shoot for a major segment of the film.
Netizens couldn’t stop praising Rashmika Mandanna’s’ look in the poster. One of the comments read, “Ati sundar (too beautiful).” Another wrote, “Our Geetanjali is so pretty and beautiful.” Another wrote, “eagerly waiting for Animal.” Another fan commented, “eagerly waiting for the trailer.”
Helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol among others in key roles. The movie was earlier supposed to release on August 11, however, due to some technical reasons the movie was then postponed to December 1.
Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar in the movie. The first look poster of the actor gave a glimpse of his heavy bearded, intense look with a bloodied weapon in his hand. The poster intrigued the netizens and created a huge buzz for the movie. Anil Kapoor will be essaying the role of Ranbir’s father in the movie.
Meanwhile, other than Animal, Rashmika Mandanna also has Allu Arjun-starrer Pushpa 2 in the pipeline. The actress will reprise her role as Srivalli in the movie. Helmed by Sukumar, the sequel also stars Fahadh Faasil along with others in key roles. The film is scheduled to hit the theatres next year on August 15.
