Actor Arjun Kapoor opens about his relationship with half-sisters Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor.

After the untimely demise of Sridevi, Arjun Kapoor has turned out to be the strongest pillar of strength for his father Boney Kapoor and half-sisters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor

He comes across as a protective brother and supported his sisters in the most testing times.

Not just Arjun but Anshula Kapoor too has bonded pretty well with Janhvi and Khushi and their relationship has only grown stronger by the day.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, the Ishaqzaade actor opened up about the relationship he shares with Janhvi and Khushi.

Arjun said, “Honestly, we’re still figuring things out and picking up the pieces. I’m a really emotional person, so my emotions do come out [especially on social media]. So, you can say that my protective side comes around in those moments. I’ll continue to be that way as a brother and as somebody who’s always looking out for their best interest. But I still don’t have answers to a lot of things. Too much has happened and I wouldn’t wish these things even on my worst enemies. I’ve experienced it first-hand, so if I encompass everything in one answer, it would make the matter very small.”

The actor further maintained that the ‘things that have led them to these circumstances are extremely tragic’.

He added that there are ‘too many emotions to feel’ and that he still needs some ‘more time to figure out what life holds’.

“As somebody who has always been extremely close to his father, I want Janhvi and Khushi to be absolutely okay as much as I would want Anshula to be fine,” he further said in the interview.

When asked if he was excited about Janhvi's big Bollywood debut, Arjun told HT, "I’m looking forward to watching Dhadak, and I’m very happy that people have reacted so positively to the trailer and also [to] Janhvi."

He also went on to say that 'Janu' is a very inquisitive child and is learning how to go about things.

Last month, although the Gunday actor could not make it to the trailer launch of Janhvi’s Bollywood debut Dhadak, he posted a heart-warming message on social media.

He wrote, “Tomorrow you will be part of the audience forever @janhvikapoor cause your trailer comes out… Firstly, sorry I’m not there in mumbai but I’m by your side, don’t worry. I just wanted you to know this profession is amazing if you work hard, be honest, learn to take the accolades with the brickbats, respect opinions, yet follow ur own path & instinct. It’s not gonna be easy but I know your are ready for all the madness that will ensue. All the best for #dhadak! I’m certain my friends @shashankkhaitan & @karanjohar have presented you & @ishaan95 as the modern Romeo & Juliet with elan !!!”
