After treating viewers to a mixed bag of songs such as the melodious Tere Liye, the groovy Bhare Bazaar, the peppy Dhoom Dhadaka and the recently-released party number Proper Patola, the makers of Namaste England are now unveiling the heartwarming Tu Meri Main Tera.
The soul-stirring song features Param (Arjun Kapoor) following Jasmeet (Parineeti Chopra) to London after she goes to the UK capital to fulfill her dreams. It showcases the struggles faced by him in his attempt to reach his ladylove, prompting one to wonder, ‘How far can one go for love?’
Penned by Javed Akhtar, the emotional number, which is composed by Mannan Shah and crooned by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan along with Shadab Faridi and Altamas Faridi, releases today.
Capturing the feeling of heartbreak, Tu Meri Main Tera brings back Rahat to the franchise after the much-loved Main Jahan Rahoon from Namastey London (2007). Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s Namaste England is a young and refreshing tale that traces the journey of Jasmeet and Param. It tracks their love story across the landscapes of India and Europe, starting from Punjab and moving to Ludhiana, Amritsar, Dhaka and all the way to Paris followed by Brussels and finally to London.
Namaste England, presented by Jayantilal Gada (Pen) & Reliance Entertainment in association with BlockBuster Movie Entertainers, releases on October 19.
