An old video of Randeep Hooda has been going viral on the internet and the actor has been facing flak online for an allegedly casteist and sexist joke he shared using the name of Bahujan Samaj Party President Mayawati in the clip.
In the video, Randeep is seen sitting on a stage in the presence of other panellists while he takes to the microphone to talk to the audience. He announces that he's going to make a 'dirty joke' and sets the premise for it with politician Mayawati as the subject.
The video did not go down well with a section of netizens who have called the actor's behaviour "casteist" and "sexist". Social media users also demanded an unconditional apology from the 'Radhe' star' for the 'casteist' joke.
Sharing the video, a user tweeted, "If this does not explain how casteist and sexist this society is, especially towards dalit women, i don't know what will. the 'joke', the audacity, the crowd. randeep hooda, top bollywood actor talking about a dalit woman, who has been the voice of the oppressed."

On the work front, Randeep Hooda features alongside Salman Khan in "Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai", which dropped digitally on Eid. He will be next seen in 'Unfair and Lovely' alongside Ilena D'Cruz.
