This year, Diwali celebrations have been a little different and 'distanced'.

Keeping in mind the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana made sure that his family and he followed all the COVID-19 guidelines while celebrating the festival of lights. However, it did not in any way dampen their spirit. The Khurranas celebrated the auspicious occasion with as much enthusiasm and added a little bit of the element of royalty by way of their exquisite garments.

The 'Article 15' star, who on Saturday took to his Instagram handle to treat his fans with heartwarming photographs from the Diwali festivities at his residence, made sure he mentioned in the caption that his family was abiding by the COVID-19 guidelines.

Adorning elaborate white ensembles that had a touch of beige in shades, the family looked extremely chic in ethnic attires as they stuck a pose for the perfect picture together.

Spotted in the photograph were Ayushmann's parents, wife, children and brother, actor Aparshakti Khurana and his wife.

"Khurranas with social distancing wishing you a very happy Diwali. I’m exactly 6 ft apart from my family. Sigh. #HappyDiwali #Diwali2020 (sic)," wrote Ayushmann alongside on of the photographs he shared.

In yet another photo where the family is seen masked-up, Ayushmann wrote, "We all are smiling ok. Happy Diwali from us. Khurrana parivaar safe parivaar. #HappyDiwali #Diwali2020 (sic)."

"Social distancing = top of our mind, top of our game! wish you all a happy, healthy , beautiful Diwali #Diwali #socialdistancing #jabhaicorona," Tahira wrote sharing the same photo as Ayushmann.

And lastly, while sharing a few solo photographs, Tahira wrote, "In between takes - trying to create a perfect pose.... but then what’s perfect! Celebrating imperfections, uniqueness and individuality! Happy Diwali (sic)."
