Disha Patani and Tiger Shroff starrer 'Baaghi 2' seems unstoppable at the box-office. In barely two days of its release, the film has shattered big box-office records of Bollywood films in 2018 so far..

Just 2 films old in the industry, Disha is extremely happy with the response. Coming from a non-filmy background and after facing rejections a numerous times before, the young actress is happy about the overwhelming response from the audience. She still remembers how she was replaced in the film which was meant to be her launch pad.

In an interview to HT, Disha said “A film was supposed to start and they replaced me with someone else. That was my launch film. But everything happens for a reason. I learned early that rejections make you stronger. Each time you feel there’s something missing in you, you get that motivation to work harder.”

Disha even confessed that she gave up on her studies to fulfil her dreams of becoming an actor. She came to Mumbai with only 500 rupees. Baaghi 2 actress revealed, " I left my studies and I came to Mumbai. For a college girl to come to a new city not knowing anyone wasn’t easy. I was living alone, making my own money and never asked my family [for money]. I came to Mumbai with Rs. 500 and after a point, I didn’t have any money. I used to go for a lot of auditions, mostly for TV commercials, as there was this constant pressure on me that if I don’t get a job this month, how I will pay my rent. Everything I did was a job until I started to enjoy acting."

Her Twitter bio also reads 'Living my dream'. After debuting with MS Dhoni: The Untold Story in 2016 and an Indo-Chinese film, 'Kung Fu Yoga' with Jackie Chan, Disha Patani's first film with her rumoured beau Tiger Shroff has turned out to be huge hit.

And no she is not upset with Tiger Shroff stealing all the limelight. She said, " I’ve been promoting with him  everywhere, so I don’t see a reason why I would complain."
