Jacqueline Fernandez and Salman Khan make for quite a sizzling pair on screen. Be it Kick or the recently released Race 3, their sizzling chemistry has always been the talk of the town. But if the recent reports are anything to go by, then apparently, Jacqueline is a bit upset with Salman Khan, for choosing Katrina Kaif over her, in his upcoming next - Bharat.
Initially, Priyanka Chopra was to do the part in Bharat, but when she walked out of the film in the "Nick" of time (in the words of the director, Ali Abbas Zafar), Salman picked Katrina to play the part. Now, a recent report on MidDay suggests that Jacqueline was eying the role and was hopeful that Salman would pick her for the part. But that clearly didn't happen.
Soon after Priyanka opted out of the film, Salman announced that Katrina has been roped in for the project. Having worked with Salman in Kick and Race 3, Jacqueline was looking forward to working with him in the next big film, but unfortunately, that couldn't happen.
Meanwhile, Katrina recently left for Malta and she has already begun shooting for her part along with Salman and the rest of the crew. The movie also stars Disha Patani and Tabu in significant roles.
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bharat is slated to hit the theatres in June 2019.
