Rumours about Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora's April wedding have been going around since quite some time now. Even though Malaika and Arjun have not addressed these rumours yet, producer and Arjun Kapoor’s father Boney Kapoor has now come forward and reacted to the reports.
“There’s no truth to these rumours," Boney told Amar Ujala. Speculations are rife that the couple's wedding is scheduled to take place on April 19 at a Mumbai church.
Arjun and Malaika have been rumoured to be dating each other for over a year. They are often spotted enjoying lunch and dinner dates together. The two even secretely went to Italy in October last year to ring in Malaika's birthday.
Malaika was married to Arbaaz Khan, brother of Salman Khan, for 18 years and the two have a son named Arhaan. Earlier reports said that Boney was not ready to accept his son’s relationship with Malaika because of the strong bond that he shares with Salman Khan and his family.
While Arjun's uncles Sanjay and Anil Kapoor and sisters Janhvi, Khushi, Sonam and Rhea have been clicked with Malaika; father Boney and sister Anshula are said to be taking their own sweet time to warm up to her.
Recently, when Malaika was asked about the rumours of her impending wedding, she said, "This is all media made. Media is responsible for it."
Rumours are afloat that the couple has already booked a new apartment in Mumbai and have also asked their teams to keep hush about the wedding.
