Newly weds Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are back in the country for their wedding reception. The duo have returned after their honeymoon which was reported to be in Finland. On Wednesday evening both Virat and Anushka met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his office. PM Modi even congratulated them on their wedding.
Virushka (as they're fondly called by their fans) tied the knot in a hush hush ceremony on December 12 this year. It was an Italian destination wedding held in Tuscany with only close family members and friends in attendance.
The duo tried their best to dodge the media and keep their wedding a private affair but speculations were already rife that the duo is all set to get hitched, soon after they were spotted leaving the country one after the other with their respective families.
Now that they're back in the country, they'll be hosting two wedding receptions. One in Delhi for their family members which is to be held on December 21 and the other in Mumbai on December 26, for their friends from the industry and cricketers.
Post that, Anushka will fly with Virat to South Africa and spend the new year with him there. She will then return to India to complete shooting for Aanand L Rai's film with Shah Rukh Khan and begin work on Sui Dhaga with Varun Dhawan.
