A lot of discussions has been going on social media pages after the sudden death of Sushant Singh Rajput. Many have been discussing the importance of mental health, nepotism debate has sprung up again and more. The media coverage during anyone's death also become a grave issue as people slam them and urge people to be more sensitive during tough times. Now Deepika Padukone slammed a paparazzo on Instagram for posting a video of SSR's mortal remains being carried from hospital to the crematorium.
In the now-deleted video, the photographer had shared the video and captioned it as "Please note my images and videos cannot be posted on any platforms without my written consent." To which Deepika commented on his post stating, "Right. But it is OK for you to take this video and not only post it but also probably monetise it without his or his family's written consent?"

Meanwhile, Padukone, who herself has battled depression has been sharing quotes on mental illness on her social media pages. After hearing about Sushant's death by suicide, the Chhapaak actor had written, "As a person who has had a lived experience with mental illness, I cannot stress enough about the importance of reaching out. Talk. Communicate. Express. Seek help. Remember, you are not alone. We are in this together. And most importantly, there is Hope."
She had also tweeted to the Media, "My dear friends in the Media, criminals 'commit' a crime. People don't 'commit' suicide. They 'die by suicide'. Their actions arise out of deep anguish. Thank you..."
