As we enter 2021, Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has started 'My Audio Diary' on social media in which she records her 'thoughts and feelings'. She shared her first video, while talking about 2020. The actress also wished her fans 'Happy New Year'.

In the audio, Deepika was heard saying, "Hi everyone. Welcome to 'My Audio Diary', a record my thoughts and feelings. I'm sure you will agree with me that 2020 was a year of uncertainity for everybody. For me, it was also about gratitude and being present. For 2021, all I can wish for myself and everyone around me is peace and good health. Happy New Year."

Sharing the post, she wrote, "It’s 1.1.2021! Happy New Year Everyone! What are you grateful for...?"

Netizens got a rude surprise after one of the top Bollywood actresses, Deepika Padukone, had no trace of her social media activity. On December 31, all of Deepika's posts from Twitter and Instagram were unavailable.

Fans started wondering whether Deepika's account was hacked. On the contrary, however, Deepika changed her display picture on both Twitter and Instagram, hinting that deleting all the posts was a part of her strategy to highlight an upcoming event.

After wrapping up Shakun Batra's untitled film, also starring Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi in pivotal roles, Deepika is on a brief vacation in Rajasthan. The actress is celebrating New Year with husband Ranveer Singh, couple Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt, and former's mother Neetu Kapoor.

Deepika, who had also turned a producer with 'Chhapaak', invested in her Ranveer-starring '83'. Directed by Kabir Khan, the movie, which is based on Kapil Dev's 1983 World Cup win for India, also stars Deepika in a cameo appearance, as Ranveer (Dev)'s on-screen wife.
