The team of Son Chiriya has completed the last schedule of the film. Bhumi Pednekar, who plays the lead role alongside Sushant Singh Rajput, posted on social media, “And it’s a wrap. So special”. Inside sources tell us that the cast and crew were battling extreme weather conditions to shoot as realistically as possible.
“The temperature was over 40 degrees and it was boiling hot. The team had to shoot some action sequences that needed to be filmed under the blazing sun,” says a crew-member, adding “The shots were such that they had to capture the soul of the Chambal valley. It’s extremely tough for the actors and crew but the shots look gritty.”
For some important scenes, Bhumi had to shoot in the scorching sun for seven days. “Though she has challenged herself with every movie, this was certainly a different level of physical endurance,” adds the source.
