Kartik Aaryan to star in Hindi remake of 'Kirik Party'

Looks like Kartik Aaryan is on a roll! The Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety actor is all set to star in the Hindi remake of Kannada hit movie, 'Kirik Party'. The movie will be helmed by national award winning director Abhishek Jain and produced by Dheeraj Wadhwan, Ajay Kapoor, and Vrithika Laykar. Some reports claimed that Kartik has replaced Siddharth Malhotra in the film. However, looks like that isn't the case.

A report on BollywoodLife suggests that a source close to Sidharth shared that he had heard the narration of the film, but wasn't contending for the role. Meanwhile, this turned out to be another golden opportunity for the Pyaar Ka Punchnama actor as now he's finalised for the role.

Film critic and trade analyst, Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to confirm the news. He wrote, "IT'S OFFICIAL... Kartik Aaryan in the Hindi remake of Kannada smash hit #KirikParty... Directed by Abhishek Jain... Produced by Dheeraj Wadhwan, Ajay Kapoor, and Vrithika Laykar... Filming begins Oct 2018."

The film, which will go on floors from October, deals with a central theme of how friendship and love can turn a boy into a compassionate man. Meanwhile, the 'Sonu ke Titu ki Sweety' star will be next seen in 'Luka Chuppi' with Kriti Sanon.
