The makers of Diljit Dosanjh and Kriti Sanon starrer 'Arjun Patiala' announced the new release date of the film. The comedy film will now be clashing with Sunny Deol's directorial 'Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas'.

Last year, Kriti Sanon has been shooting for two films - Luka Chuppi and Arjun Patiala. Luka Chuppi which released earlier this month starred Kartik Aaryan as the male lead. On the other hand, in Arjun Patiala, Kriti is set to be seen alongside Diljit Dosanjh and Varun Sharma. Arjun Patiala was slated to release on September 13, 2018, but it happened so. People have been waiting to know the new release date from a very long time.

The makers have announced it and now Arjun Patiala is set to hit the screens on July 19, 2019. The film is directed by Rohit Jugraj. The out-and-out comedy film will be clashing with Sunny Deol's directorial Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas which marks his son Karan Deol's debut in Bollywood. This is definitely an interesting clash to watch out for.

In May 2018, Kriti had unveiled the first look of Arjun Patiala with a caption stating, "Arjun Patiala, Onida Singh and Ritu Randhawa coming to crack you up and blow your mind!! #September13th #ArjunPatiala Larger than Life! @diljitdosanjh @fukravarun @rohitjugraj @maddockfilmsofficial #Dinoo"

In the film, Diljit will be seen as a cop and in the titular role. While Varun as his sidekick. Kriti plays the role of a scoop-hungry crime reporter with a TV channel.

Talking about Diljit's role in the film, producer Dinesh Vijan had earlier said, "Diljit will be seen in the uniform but very different to his avatar in his first Hindi film outing, Udta Punjab, who is out to bust a drug cartel. This policewallah is a laugh-a-minute character with a swagger that is all Diljit who will have you rolling with his quirky sense of humour which he has trademarked back home."

This is the first outing of Kriti and Diljit.
