Director Hansal Mehta also reacted to the rejected bail plea and wrote, "The travesty continues. The ordeal continues. Heartbreaking."

Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan was denied bail, yet again, in the Mumbai drugs case by the Special NDPS Court on Wednesday. Apart from Aryan, the bail applications of Arbaaz Merchantt and Munmun Dhamecha were also rejected.

Soon after Aryan's bail was denied, Shah Rukh's 'Raees' director Rahul Dholakia reacted on the same and wrote, "Outrageous !!! You are saying there is a “possible” connection to his “international” racket based on “WhatsApp” chat recovered from his phone, that you confiscated on a “bust” where he "had nothing"? And you have been fishing for days and yet not found anything? #FreeAryanKhan."

Director Hansal Mehta also reacted to the rejected bail plea and wrote, "The travesty continues. The ordeal continues. Heartbreaking."

Shortly after Aryan's bail plea was rejected, his lawyers, senior advocate Amit Desai and Satish Maneshinde rushed to the Bombay High Court to mention the matter before Justice NW Sambre, but the court hours had ended, and now, the matter is likely to come up on Thursday.

Nationalist Congress Party national spokesperson and Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik and Shiv Sena leader Kishore Tiwari also again flayed the NCB and claimed the case will not stand the scrutiny of the higher courts.

Among other things, the NDPS accused Aryan Khan of being a regular consumer of drugs, dealing in narcotics, and the case having international links, etc as evident from his WhatsApp chats.

The NCB's contentions were strongly countered by his lawyers, especially since no drugs were recovered from him and the lawyers of the other co-accused also strongly pleaded for bail.
