This Eid, film buffs are in for a special surprise as they get to see their favourite stars — Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan — together in Zero’s new teaser. It not only gives a sneak peek of Salman’s much talked-about cameo in the Aanand L Rai film but also features a special song starring the two Bollywood heavyweights.
Their camaraderie is said to be one of the highlights of this much-anticipated movie, which is presented by Red Chillies Entertainment and Colour Yellow Productions. The teaser will be attached to Salman’s Eid release Race 3, making it a double bonanza for viewers.
Aanand says, “Like all Indians, I also love festivals. The energy, vibrancy and bhaichaara they bring makes me joyful and happy. We have made Zero with the same joy. The film is truly a celebration of many things and this festive season, we had the opportunity to commemorate it with the two Khans who have given us so many reasons to smile over the decades. Honestly for me, more than a teaser or a glimpse of the movie, I just wanted to share this feeling with my audience. And for a director, his feeling is his film. I wish everybody a happy Eid and seek their best wishes.”
Zero, which is produced by Gauri Khan, also stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. Staying in sync with the film’s theme, which is a celebration of life, the makers have given the movie’s sneak peek on festive occasions. Its first look, which was revealed on January 1, featured SRK as a vertically-challenged man, who is up to some antics. Now, the second teaser is being launched on the eve of Eid, thereby giving cinegoers another glimpse of this year’s big Christmas release.
Zero releases on December 21.
