When Rajkummar Rao was in Bareilly for a schedule of his movie, lensman Vickky Idnaani decided to click some pictures of the actor. After packing up for the day, one evening, Vickky, who has shot many celebs for commercials, film publicity and magazine covers, discussed the idea with Rajkummar. The actor immediately agreed to it. The photographer did a recce across the length and breadth of the city in Uttar Pradesh to shortlist suitable locations. On an easier day of the film’s shoot, along with a few crew members and security personnel, they headed to shoot in the streets of the city. A spot that Vicky liked was a dilapidated structure in one of the streets of Bareilly.
The shutterbug says, “Since we didn’t have the luxury of time for make-up, hair and outfits at a public place, Raj got ready at his hotel suite. Shooting at this old structure seemed surreal and we were quite pleased with the way the pictures came out. As we were shooting outdoors, a huge crowd gathered but our crew managed it well. The locals were also cooperative. We had a fabulous time creating these photographs.”
