Anil Kapoor dropped the latest posters of his upcoming film 'Fanney Khan' on July 5 and it has got us further intrigued. The first two posters featured silhouettes of Anil Kapoor while the third one saw him playing a trumpet.
But, the ones that have been released today feature a very bemused Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, a scared Rajkummar Rao and Anil Kapoor with a Rajinikanth mask.
Sharing the poster on Twitter, Anil wrote, “Everything is fair in love, war & in a quest to achieve your dreams! How far will they go? Find out very soon! #FanneyKhan #AishwaryaRai @RajkummarRao @divyadutta25 @TSeries @fanneykhanfilm @ROMPPictures @AtulManjrekar #VirenderArora #NishantPitti.”
"Meet the risk takers and the rule breakers of #FanneyKhan! #AishwaryaRai @RajkummarRao @divyadutta25 @TSeries @fanneykhanfilm @ROMPPictures @AtulManjrekar #VirenderArora #NishantPitti"
While not much is known about the film's plot a lot can be deciphered from the synopsis of Dutch film 'Everybody’s Famous', which Fanney Khan is said to be a remake of. It says, “When a family man suddenly loses his job, he is desperate to have his daughter succeed as a singer. In a chance meeting he kidnaps the most famous pop star in the country and holds her hostage, demanding to be heard by the music industry.”
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will clearly be playing the role of a pop star, which is by the way inspired from Madonna, while Anil will be essaying the role of the father. Rajkummar Rao's character still remains a mystery.
Co-produced by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra Pictures Productions and T-Series in association with Anil Kapoor Films Company Network, Fanney Khan is slated to release on August 3.
