Recently, rumour mills have been busy churning that Salim Khan's son Salman Khan and Javed Akhtar's son Farhan Akhtar may come together to collaborate on a film soon. What sparked the speculations? Well a few days back, Farhan happened to catch up with Salman at his abode post which speculations about the duo collaborating for a project started doing the rounds.
A report on BollywoodLife quoted a source as saying, "Farhan came over to Salman Khan's home and they discussed a film in great length. It is not certain if Farhan will be producing or directing the project but they sounded quite enthusiastic about working together."
While fans were eagerly looking forward to some kind of confirmation on the buzz, especially since Farhan and Salman's father's made for the hit writer jodi of Salim-Javed about three decades back before they split. However, looks like a collaboration isn't on the cards for Farhan and Salman as yet.
At a recently concluded event, when Farhan was quizzed about his interaction with Salman and if they are to work on a film together, Farhan told the mediapersons, "There's no film on the cards." Farhan further added that it was just a casual meeting with Salman where they exchanged ideas and thoughts. "Salman and I have been sharing ideas but there's no film on the cards," Farhan cleared the air.
As of now, Farhan is gearing up for the release of The Sky Is Pink, post which he'll begin shooting for Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's sports biopic - Toofan.
