Genelia D'Souza and Harman Baweja's film 'It's My Life' is skipping the theatrical release and will instead premiere on Television

Genelia D'Souza and Harman Baweja's movie 'It's My Life' is finally slated for release! The movie will skip theatrical release and make its Television premiere on November 29.

Announcing the news herself, Genelia shared a new poster from the movie. The poster, a combination of pink and yellow, saw Genelia punch Harman, while looking on the other side. While Harman was seen in a casual avatar, Genelia is shown as a glam girl.

"Get ready for a fun family entertainer, 'It’s My Life', releasing directly to your TV screens on 29th November, only on @zeecinema," she wrote while sharing the poster of the film.

The father-son relationship drama, Its My Life, stars Nana Patekar, Harman Baweja, and Genelia Deshmukh in lead roles. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the film is a remake of the 2006 Telugu hit, Bommarillu.

Speaking about the movie, Anees Bazmee had said, "Whenever I decide to take up a script, I always put myself in the audience's shoes and look at things from their point of view -- if it is entertaining or not. Packed with a double dose of laughter, drama, romance, and a spectacular star cast, It`s My Life is a perfect entertainment package. I am sure with its TV release it will brighten up everybody's mood, especially in these unprecedented times." 

The film is produced by Boney Kapoor in collaboration with his actor-brother Sanjay Kapoor.

Boney said, "The film was made with the thought of highlighting unadulterated family equations and complexities, a genre that most of us enjoy, including me. The movie beautifully showcases the relationship dynamics between a father and son from the time the child is born to becoming an adult and taking up responsibility. It brings about such strong, heartwarming, and relatable emotions that will surely strike a chord with the viewers." 

Meanwhile, Sanjay Kapoor said, "When I had envisioned making the Hindi remake of the popular Telugu film Bommarillu, l strongly believed that the movie's powerful narrative will form a strong connection with the Bollywood movie lovers as well. It's My Life is a fun, contemporary, emotional, and relevant film based on a father-son relationship."
