The makers of Akshay Kumar's Gold have finally unveiled its much awaited teaser and going by the looks of it, we're totally bowled over by this awe-inspiring story. The film revolved around one man's passion for hockey and his determination to bring an Olympic gold medal to the country as a free nation.
The teaser begins with Akshay Kumar introducing himself as a "paagal Bengali" who loves the game of Hockey and his country. He goes on to highlight that though the country has already won three Olympic gold medals in Hockey, but they were in the name of British India. He resolves to bring the first Olympic gold medal to India as a free country by putting up the best team together.
The teaser then gives us glimpses of the journey of this hockey coach and his journey to make his dream come true. Akshay Kumar has magically transformed himself into his character of a Bengali coach.

Another highlight of the teaser is its mind blowing background score which instils a sense of urgency and heightens your emotions as you watch the teaser. The teaser also has popular TV actress Mouni Roy in a blink-and-miss appearance. Mouni makes her Bollywood debut with the film and plays Akshay's love interest.
The film also stars Amit Sadh, Kunaal Kapoor, Sunny Kaushal in significant roles. Directed by Reema Kagti, the film is slated to hit the theatres on August 15, 2018.
