Ranveer Singh turned 34-year-old today. The actor had a special surprise in mind for his fans, on his special day. This surprise is none other than Ranveer Singh's look, actually, transformation, into Kapil Dev. The actor plays the ace cricketer in his upcoming film '83, based the 1983 World Cup win.
Ranveer has actually transformed from boy-next-door, to the legendary Kapil Dev, who had nothing but passion in his eyes before the World Cup. Ranveer Singh has aced the look, right from hair, moustache, including a scar, to wearing two threads on his neck and buttoning his shirt to the exact amount which Kapil Dev did. The first look also features a ball right in front of him as he is focused on the batsman's moves. For the uninitiated, Kapil Dev was a medium pace bowler and middle order batsman.
Sharing the first official look from ‘83 on his birthday, Ranveer wrote, "On my special day, here’s presenting THE HARYANA HURRICANE KAPIL DEV".
