Hema Malini reveals if she will be comfortable kissing onscreen like Dharmendra-Shabana Azmi in RRKPK: 'Kyun nahi...'

Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi play ex-lovers Kanwal and Jamini, who are reunited by their grandchildren Ranveer Singh's Rocky and Alia Bhat's Rani, in Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.

Karan Johar's romantic drama Rocky Aur Rani KiI Prem Kahaani has been a massive success as the Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt-starrer has earned more than Rs 300 crore worldwide. The film features Rocky's grandfather Kanwal Lund, played by Dharmendra, and Rani's grandmother Jamini Chatterjee, played by Shabana Azmi, as ex-lovers who are reunited by their grandchildren.

One of the most discussed scenes in the film has been Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi's kiss. Now, in a recent interview, Dharmendra's wife and actress Hema Malini was asked if she would be comfortable doing an onscreen kiss, as done by her husband. Hema told India.com, "Kyun nahi karenge, bilkul karenge. (Why not, why won’t I) If it is nice, if it is relatable and gels with the film, maybe I can", adding that she still hasn't seen the film yet.

Earlier, the 74-year-old actress had shared her reaction to Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi's kiss in the Karan Johar film when she told Zoom, "I am sure people have loved the film. I am so happy for Dharam ji, because he loves to be in front of the camera all the time. He loves it."

Dharmendra and Hema Malini tied the knot with each other in 1980, 26 years after the Johnny Gaddaar actor's first marriage with Prakash Kaur. As per reports, Dhamendra didn't divorce his first wife and converted to Islam to marry the Baghban actress. With his first wife, the 87-year-old actor shares four children, two sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, and two daughters Ajieta Deol and Vijeta Deol, and with Hema, he has two daughters Esha Deol and Ahana Deol.
