'Hera Pheri 3' on the cards! Akshay Kumar confirms his role

'Hera Pheri 3' is the third installment in the 'Hera Pheri' franchise, which originally starred Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal

One comedy flick which has stood the test of time and continues to be a favourite after so many years is Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Suniel Shetty starrer Hera Pheri

In the bone tickling film, Akshay Kumar essayed the role of Raju, Suniel Shetty was seen as Shyam, while Paresh Rawal as Babu Bhaiya won many hearts. 

The Hera Pheri franchise returned with a sequel titled Phir Hera Pheri in 2006, and since then audiences have been waiting patiently for the third installment. 

Even though speculations were doing rounds, nothing was ever confirmed about the third part of the film. 

But filmmaker Indra Kumar has officially confirmed Hera Pheri 3 with the same cast and hinted as himself to be the director, and we can't be less excited!

A source close to the development said, "The project was locked last month after the three actors gave their dates. It will be shot in a start-to-finish schedule between December 2018 and February 2019 and will release in the second half of next year," as reported by Mumbai Mirror.

In an interview with DNA, Akshay Kumar too confirmed the news. He said, "I shall be doing Housefull 4, Hera Pheri 3, Good News, Kesari...".

Now that looks like a good news! 

It wasn't long back when the Khiladi of Bollywood took to his Instagram account and posted a picture with his "oldest friend and co-star" Suniel who replied, "Aye Raaaaajjjuuuu! Always such a pleasure to see you, so happy to be smiling together forever."

 

 

Suniel's reply created quite a stir about an impending reunion of the duo and their much-awaited film Hera Pheri 3.

Well, Hera Pheri 3 will be a treat for fans who are awaiting to watch the amazing trio reuniting after a long and arduous wait. 

An official statement from the makers is still awaited on the developments of the project, but we are happy to know that the making of the film is in the process. 

The first film in the franchise, was the remake of 1989 Malayalam film Ramji Rao Speaking

It quickly went on to become a hit, and even today, makes everyone laugh their heads off!
