While Shahid Kapoor and wife Mira Kapoor gear up for baby number 2, makers have 'Arjun Reddy' have worked out their shooting schedule in accordance with the actor's paternity leave
Shahid Kapoor and wifey dear Mira Kapoor are gearing up for the arrival of baby number 2. In midst of his busy work schedule, the actor is keen to create work-life balance to be by his wife's side during the final trimester. Apart from 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' with Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam, Shahid also has to shoot for his action-packed film 'Arjun Reddy' before he takes off for a month-long maternity leave.
According to Mid-Day report, Director Sandeep Vanga and his team understand the actor's priorities at the moment and has decided to prepone the shoot of 'Arjun Reddy' remake. The makers of the film have decided to advance the Mumbai schedule of the film's shoot so that it doesn't clash with Mira Kapoor's delivery date. Mumbai daily reported that initially the film was meant to go on floors in Mumbai in August. Since Shamira is expecting their second child soon, the 'Arjun Reddy' makers have decided to build a set in Mumbai itself so that the actor can be there by his wife's side as well.
Shahid Kapoor has been stationed in Uttarakhand for a long time to shoot for 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu'. Meanwhile, his pregnant wife Mira had to take off for a relaxing babymoon along with their little princess Misha without hubby dear. Without complaining about his absence, Mira shared an adorable picture with her baby girl and captioned it, 'Yes we miss you @shahidkapoor but I’m loving the extra hugs all for myself!'
Shahid Kapoor will be seen along with 'Student of The Year 2' Tara Sutaria in Telugu film 'Arjun Reddy' remake. The film will be shot in 40-day first schedule in Mumbai and the seconds schedule will be planned later. The film revolves around a hot-headed medical student — Arjun Reddy — and the heartbreak that he faces due to his actions. In the original film, which released last year, Telugu actor Vijay Deverakonda was the protagonist, while Shalini Pandey essayed the female lead. Sandeep Reddy Vanga who directed the original will helm the remake, too.
