Taapsee Pannu, who is gearing up for the shoot of Sujoy Ghosh directorial, 'Badla', starring Amitabh Bachchan, will soon be flying out to Scotland for the first schedule of the film's shoot. The 'Pink' actress, who has been shooting back to back for her films this year, has barely had a breather as she has been jet setting from one shoot to the other. With as many as seven films in her kitty, she is the busiest actress in tinsel town today!
"This is going to be a riveting thriller. It's Sujoy's favourite genre and I am yet another time out of my comfort zone which I actually enjoy the most," Taapsee said in a statement.
On the prep front, Taapsee hasn’t divulged too much about how she’s going to be taking on the character of an entrepreneur for 'Badla'. However we spotted a recent social media post, where she showcased a new book on her kindle with the caption, 'Setting the right mood #ProjectNumber26'.
The 'Baby' actress is reading 'The Dark Lake', a popular crime novel, by Sara Bailey. The pic has left many wondering if Taapsee is just doing a bit of light reading or is there another thriller in pipeline for the talented actress? Or whether 'Badla' is based on this book? Well it seems only time will answer these questions.
Meanwhile, she currently awaits the release of her forthcoming film 'Soorma', a biopic on hockey player Sandeep Singh, starring Daljit Singh in the titular role.
