Rumours of Sonam Kapoor and beau Anand Ahuja getting married in the first week of May is getting stronger with each passing day but the family continues to be mum as they prepare for the big day.
Meanwhile, the actress is busy promoting sister Rhea Kapoor’s Veere Di Wedding, which also star Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania. Further reports suggest that Sonam will be busy with Cannes Film Festival, where she is scheduled to walk the red carpet on May 14 and 15. Considering her commitments and the impending wedding, we wonder when will Sonam be back on the sets since she has several films in the pipeline?
Now as per a report in Mumbai Mirror, Sonam will return to work in July and wrap up Shelly Chopra Dhar’s directorial debut, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, which also stars daddy Anil Kapoor. The family drama, which also features Rajkummar Rao, Juhi Chawla and debutant Regina Cassandra, took off in January in Patiala and proceeded to Chandigarh but soon it will move to Mumbai. “The Punjab set is likely to move to Mumbai in July,” informs a source close to the development informed Mirror. The change in locations will certainly allow Sonam to be closer to home after her marriage.
Post completion of Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, Sonam will begin filming for Fox Star Studio and Aarti and Pooja Shetty’s cricket romance, The Zoya Factor alongside Dulquer Salmaan.
Meanwhile, at the trailer launch of 'Veere Di Wedding', rumoured bride-to-be Sonam assured that everyone will find out about her wedding when the time comes. "Everybody will hear everything in all good time. We are here to talk about 'Veere Di Wedding' I don't want to say much I have just decided to stick to the film." She further said, "Everybody will hear everything in all good time. This is not the correct time I have had a very good relationship with the media and we will share all in good time.
