There is a budding friendship in Bollywood. From what we hear, Suniel Shetty's daughter, Athiya Shetty shares a good bond with Canadian rapper Drake. The duo follows each other on the social media platform.
So these seemingly world apart people caught the eye of social media when Drake left a comment on the actress' Instagram post, where she was wishing her father a happy birthday.
"Happy birthday Papa Thank you for always being so patient with me, keeping the faith when I forget to and never letting go of my hand. I hope to make you proud every single day. I love you. With a heart like yours, you deserve all the happiness the world has to offer," Athiya wrote the caption for a throwback picture with her dad.
The 'Nice For What' singer left a one-word comment below it.
How did that even happen?
Did the world stop spinning around?
Is there a conspiracy going on which we mere mortals are not aware of?
Turns out, while holidaying in London the two cross paths.
Athiya was vacationing in London, as was half the Bollywood during this summer. Drake or Champagnepapi, which is the rapper's Instagram moniker, bumped into each other at a party and struck a chord. Reportedly, the two became good friends and this comment below the Instagram post is proof enough
Rapper Drake is currently riding on the success of his fifth studio album Scorpion. Released on June 29, the album has already reached Gold status in Britain and New Zealand, Platinum status in the USA. With the songs on the album, he revealed that he is a father of a child, he also dissed fellow rappers and gave birth to 'Kiki challenge' that has taken the world by storm.
Athiya Shetty was last seen playing Arjun Kapoor love interest in comedy Mubarakan. Next, she will be seen with Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Motichoor Chaknachoor.
