Salman Khan shot a song for Zero.

On Eid this year, Shah Rukh Khan unveiled a small teaser of Zero featuring Salman Khan. During the press conference after the release of the official trailer on Friday, SRK revealed how the Dabangg star came onboard to do the dance number with Bauua Singh.

Possibly titled 'Chaknachur Hai,' the song is one of the biggest cameos in the movie filled with special appearances. Javed Jaffrey introduces Salman Khan: "Dabanggon ki pehchaan, tigeron ki shaan, iss baar ki Eid ka pura chaand, Saaaaaaalmaaaaan Khan!" Then the duo breaks into this fun song.

At the press conference, Shah Rukh Khan revealed that it was Salman Khan who convinced him to take up the role of Bauua Singh in Zero. Reportedly, director Anand L Rai had approached a lot of actors to play the role of a vertically challenged character. But it was Shah Rukh Khan who dared taking it up after the success of Kamal Haasan's Apu Raja.

Talking about the special song cameo, SRK said that even though he refused the project in the beginning, Salman Khan still wanted to be a part of the movie. "He really wanted to be in the film. Aur Salman bohot hi pyara insaan hai yaar," said Shah Rukh Khan.

Besides Salman Khan, actors including late Sridevi, Rani Mukerji, Kajol, Karisma Kapoor, Abhay Deol, Jimmy Shergill, R Madhavan, and Alia Bhatt will be seen in the movie.

Shah Rukh Khan was accompanied by his co-star Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif for the trailer launch in Mumbai.
