Rani Mukerji is returning to the big screen after a gap of three years and the actress can't wait for the audience to watch Hichki. So, a week before the film hits theatres, Queen of hearts decided to screen the film for her friends in the fraternity. From Karan Johar to Madhuri Dixit Nene and veteran actress Rekha, they all watched the film before the audience.

Sushmita Sen even took her daughters, Alisah and Renee for the film's screening and revealed she is glad that she did that. Posing like Rani Mukerji on Hichki posters, Sushmita shared an adorable picture with her gals and captioned it, "What a performance #ranimukerjichopra #whistle x infinity!!! I cried my lungs out in the second half!!! My #respect to all the actors & director #siddharthmalhotra who has dealt with a sensitive topic like #tourettesyndrome with absolute sincerity!!!Rani insisted I show the film to Renee & Alisah, and so I did... good call!!! All the best to the entire team of #filmhichki  girlpower #pride #aweinspiring #loveit #sharing #us  love you guys!!!"

The film was initially supposed to release on February 23 and got shifted to March 23 as YRF wants to tap in the audience that will come post-exam period. A report in IANS suggested that YRF head honcho Aditya Chopra has been convinced by the marketing and distribution team that Hichki needs a release window that could bring in more audience.

But it's surely going to be worth the wait as Karan Johar's verdict suggest that the film will take audience back to school. KJo tweeted, "#Hichki takes you back to school and gives you life lessons in such a nuanced and beautiful way! Well done @sidpmalhotra for directing this film with such an assured hand and with such sensitivity! Must watch!!! #hichki" He further tweeted, "#Hichki is a feel good and extremely sensitive film....adresses a disorder with dignity and strength....#RaniMukerji is the soul and life of this film! She is absolutely brilliant!!!! And reminds you of her exceptional talent again!!!!"

This Friday belongs to Ajay Devgn's Raid which is getting good reviews. But we are sure the box-office mathematics will change Rani Mukerji's comeback film 'Hichki' on March 23rd.
