If there was something about the royal wedding that we Indians were looking forward to then it was Priyanka Chopra's appearance. Let's admit it, more than Meghan Markle's bridal gown, we were all interested in knowing what our Desi girl would wear to the wedding. And why not? After all she was the ONLY Indian amongst the pool of 2,640 people, to be invited for what's being touted as the 'Wedding of the year.' And, did she make us proud? Oh Yes, very much! She mingled amongst the royals as sugar does in milk.
The Quantico star was photographed in a custom Vivienne Westwood lilac skirt and blazer, paired with a elegant hat and a floral fascinator. Her make-up artist Pati Dubroff matched her dress with her berry eye-shadow and blush pink lip-colour.
We hear that the 35-year-old actress arrived in London for the wedding a day in advance and was living within a 10-mile radius from the wedding venue. Although not on Meghan's bridesmaid list, PC is believed to be a longtime friend of the bride and has always spoken highly of her.
“I’m super excited about her and her big day. It’s not just going to be life-changing for both of them, it’s life-changing for the world that needs to see strong women as icons, and I think Meghan has the potential to be that,” Priyanka had earlier said in an interview with People Now.
