Ishaan Khatter-Ananya Panday's 'Khaali Peeli' gets a digital release; streaming date out

Ishaan Khatter and Ananya Panday starrer Khaali Peeli is getting a digital release. The film will be streamed on the OTT platform named ZeePlex from October 2, 2020. The new poster and the announcement were made by the lead actors of the film on their social media pages. In the poster, Ishaan is seen sitting inside the taxi with a swag while Ananya is donning a stylish look in a white crop top and denim shorts.

Ishaan captioned the post on his Instagram page stating, "Apan bhi ready hai aur apni काली-पीली bhi. Toh public, abhi tum bhi ho jao ready, aa rahi hai mad ride #KhaaliPeeli, 2nd October ko sirf @zeeplexofficial par!"

While Ananya wrote, "Mad ride ki sawari karni hai, toh ready rehneka 2nd October ko! Aareli hai #KhaaliPeeli, exclusively on @zeeplexofficial."

Khaali Peeli also stars Jaideep Ahlawat as the main antagonist. The film marks the directorial debut of Maqbool Khan and is produced by Ali Abbas Zafar under his home banner.

Earlier talking about the shoot being left for the film, Ananya had said, "We (Khaali Peeli crew) had only one day of shoot left, but we couldn’t finish the film because everyone’s safety is more important. I hope things get back to normal soon."

While talking about her role, the actor went on to say, "The character is completely out of my comfort zone as she doesn’t speak the way I do in real life. It’s interesting because I had to adapt to a new lingo and a different tone. We have experimented with my look as well."
