I’m trying to find a balance with dieting, but I feel like I am on an eternal diet,' he says.

He's mostly been part of love stories such as Aashiqui 2 and Ok Jaanu. However, Aditya Roy Kapur who is fond of action movies, is keen to explore the genre. He told HT Cafe, "I grew up watching all of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone and Jackie Chan’s movies. Action is one genre I’d like to explore as an actor. It would be a lot of fun to shoot the bad guys, get the girl, and so I will have nothing to complain about. Other than doing action scenes, which I guess is also fun, it also is a chance to learn a different skill set altogether."

Aditya has always been a foodie, but now he's looking fitter than ever. "It is tough. I am happy to be committed to fitness. Sometimes, I do go off the handle and end up eating a little too much for days. So, my weight yo-yos. Then I have to stop myself. I’m trying to find a balance with dieting, but I feel like I am on an eternal diet,' he says adding, "If you ask me what I like to eat every day; I am going to put on weight every day. It is a daily compromise. But it is healthy. So I am trying to find a space where I am not extreme about it, where I give myself something every couple of days, so I don’t feel like I am in a never-ending boot camp."

Many in the industry have sought supplements and artificial help to acquire fitter bodies. What does he think of these fitness fads? Aditya says that he "can only speak for himself." adding, "I’ve never done any such thing. I have never felt the need for it. And, I don’t have enough knowledge about it. I’d suggest if people are doing anything like that, they should just do their homework, and make sure they consult the right people, and in a healthy way."
