Sonam Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan have finally let the cat out of the bag.
They just announced that their chick flick will release on May 18 next year. Which means that the film will hit theatres while the 11th season of IPL will be on.
This year, Meri Pyaari Bindu and Half Girlfriend released and failed to live up to expectations. It’s a given that producers prefer staying away from the IPL season to avoid a clash and ensure better turnout at the theatres. However, next year, it will be Sonam and Kareena vs IPL in May. Also, Alia Bhatt’s Raazi releases on May 11, a week before their film. So Alia’s film too will face stiff competition from the much anticipated T20 series.
