Jawan, Dangal star Sanya Malhotra calls Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan similar in this one aspect
Sanya Malhotra who has worked in Dangal and Jawan reveals the similarity between Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan.
Sanya Malhotra is enjoying the success of her recent release Jawan. The actress has been garnering immense praise from the audience for her role in the movie. She has also worked with Aamir Khan earlier in her debut film Dangal. Now, after working with Shah Rukh Khan, the actress reveals one common thing between the two.
In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, when asked about what similarities she found between Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, Sanya Malhotra said, “Their passion for what they are doing. I think they love acting, they love filmmaking and they both have been entertaining us for so long. I mean how do they consistently make such good films? That has been a constant thing.”
The actress also recalled one piece of advice from Shah Rukh Khan that he gave her on Jawan sets and said, “On set, sometimes I used to ask him some questions. At one point, he could sense that I am an overthinker so he told me, ‘Dil ki suna karo, zyada mat socha karo (listen to your heart, don’t overthink so much).’ So that kind of stayed with me and helped me to be in that moment.”
Sanya Malhotra essayed the role of Dr. Erram Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan. Apart from her, SRK’s girl gang in the movie also included, Priyamani, Girija Oak, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Lehar Khan, and Aaliyah Qureishi.
Helmed by Atlee, Jawan is Shah Rukh Khan’s most expensive film made on a budget of Rs 300 crore. The movie has crossed Rs 700 crore worldwide in a week and is still running strong.
Produced by Gauri Khan under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment, the movie also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi. Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt too had a powerful cameo in the movie and impressed fans with their performances. Released on September 7, the movie continues to break several box office records.
