Akshay Kumar has been urging Indians to follow the coronavirus lockdown for 21 days ever since the countdown began. The actor now used Salman Khan's show 'Bigg Boss' reference and asked people to think of life like the show and try to win by staying at home.
While talking to Radio Nasha, the actor said God is Bigg Boss right now. "Have you watched the reality show, Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss? I feel God is Bigg Boss right now he wants us all to stay inside our houses. The winner is the person who will stay at home. Spend time with your wife and kids, stay hygienic. I can only say that stay at home and pay attention to your health. People can neglect health at such times," said Akshay.
Giving tips about what to do during the quarantine period and revealing that he makes short videos for social media, the actor stated, "Just before you called, I was on a video call with my director and writer and we were reading the entire script on video calls. I don’t call anyone, no one can come and should come given the outbreak," adding, “The discussion that takes place during a personal meeting can never happen over video calls but we must best use of technology."
For the uninitiated, Akshay was the first Bollywood actor to announce that he would be donating towards the PM Cares Fund, which would provide aid to those fighting coronavirus. Akshay has donated Rs. 25 crore to the fund. It was also being reported that Salman Khan would help 25,000 daily wage workers affected by COVID-19 lockdown.
