Kajol and Ajay Devgn shoot for a campaign to ban plastic

Taking forward their commitment to the cause, both the actors will shoot for a public service campaign highlighting the harmful effects of plastic on the environment.

Earlier this year, Ajay Devgn and Kajol put their weight behind the state government’s initiative to ban plastic. The B-Town power couple attended an exhibition that was held to make people aware about the hazards of using non-eco-friendly products. Now, taking forward their commitment to the cause, both the actors will shoot for a public service campaign highlighting the harmful effects of plastic on the environment. A source says, “Ajay and Kajol have earmarked Friday and Saturday (December 14 and 15) for the campaign. They are likely to shoot tomorrow.”

In recent times, the superstar jodi has lent their support to various social causes. The Raid actor was the goodwill ambassador for Smile Foundation, an NGO that has been instrumental in supporting education for girls and women’s empowerment. 

The Helicopter Eela actress, meanwhile, supports the Help A Child Reach 5 campaign, which focuses on the significance of washing hands with soap to prevent deaths among kids below the age of five. The source adds, “They have been vocal about their support towards the initiative to ban plastic and are willing to go that extra mile to promote it.”
