Based on the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the Kashmir valley in 1990, 'The Kashmir Files' has emerged as the public favourite as the Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri directed film has surprised everyone by earning Rs 27.15 crore at the Indian box-office in its first weekend after its release on March 11.
Now, Kangana Ranaut has been supporting the film since its release and finally watched it on Monday, March 14. She was snapped by the paparazzi outside the theatre on Monday late night in Mumbai and applauded the movie as she said, "Itni achi film banayi hai inhone ki Bollywood ke paap dho diye".
The 'Panga' actress continued in the video that the film industry should come out and promote the film. She can be heard saying in the video, "Sab industry walon ko jo chhupe hain apne bill me chuhon ki tarah, nikal ke aana chahiye aur promote karna chahiye is film ko". The video uploaded by celebrity photographer Viral Bhayani has gone viral on social media.

Earlier, taking to her Instagram Stories, Kangana had penned a note bashing the film industry for being silent about the film. She had written, "Please notice the pin-drop silence in the film industry #TheKashmirFiles not just content even its business is exemplary... investment and profit proportions might be such a case study that it will be the most successful profitable film of the year...Bullydawood aur unke chamche sadme mein chale gaye hai... Not a word saari duniya dekh rahi hai inko lekin phir bhi not a word...There time is upp!!"
