Kangana Ranaut is busy with Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi but now it seems her fans have to wait a tad bit longer to see the actress in the historical drama. Apparently, Manikarnika will now hit the screens only in June this year, instead of its official release date of April 27, 2018.
While the actress has rigorously been shooting for the movie in Udaipur, speculations were rife that the film’s released might be pushed or the film’s shoot might be stalled for some months. But now as per a report in Deccan Chronicle, the film’s release might be pushed to June, or even July.
“Kangana is in Himachal Pradesh these days, spending some quality time with her family. She will resume work soon, but the VFX on the film is going to take a bit longer. So now the film will release only in June, or maybe even July,” a source close to the film revealed to a daily.
Directed by Krish, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi will be Kangana’s first movie as a producer. The movie will also star television actress Ankita Lokhande. Well, with Simran and Rangoon tanking at the box-office, Kangana is expected to bounced back with this one.
