Remember we had told you that Karan Johar is set to take the director's chair once again with a perid love story and that he had roped in his best friend Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh for the untitled project?
Well, latest news on the block regarding the magnum-opus is that Dharma Productions and Karan Johar himself has revealed the title and the starry cast of the much awaited film.
Yes, you read that right! The wait is finally over!
Karan Johar not only revealed the first poster of the film, but also introduced the star-cast.
The Karan Johar film, under the Dharma Production Takht will see an ensemble of Bollywood celebrities, including Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor.

Takht is said to be Dharma Productions first historical multi-starrer which will depict a battle for the majestic Mughal throne.
The film will have it all- ambition, greed, betrayal, love and love of succession.
The Ae Dil Hai Mushkil director took to his Instagram handle on Thursday and revealed the poster of the film. He captioned the poster as, "An incredible story embedded in history...An epic battle for the majestic Mughal throne... A story of a family, of ambition, of greed, of betrayal, of love & of succession...TAKHT is about WAR for LOVE....@dharmamovies @apoorva1972"
The poster looks spectacular and royal, with a colour scheme that represents war, love, royalty and drama.
In yet another post, the talented director disclosed the cast, along with a caption that read, "Supremely Excited to announce the cast of #TAKHT!!!!!"
We are supremely excited too! Can't wait to watch these megastars coming together for the first time and showcasing their talent under the direction of none other than KJo himself.
The official Twitter handle of Dharma Productions too has tweeted out the striking news.
Karan's student Alia Bhatt too took to her Twitter and shared the news. She shared the poster of the film, and wrote, "Back where I begun.. to my roots!
